ENGRAVED UPON HIS HAND

 This is my hand (obv).
Isaiah 49:16
"Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me."
Jesus' hands have marks in the palms left from His crucifixion.
He endured the crucifixion for us.
He IS the covenant between God and us, that we are forever part of His family, that He took the sin of the world upon Him,
so that there would be no separation between us and God, and heaven, and all the love He has for us.

I am engraved upon His Hands.

There is nothing I can do to earn this gift.  I can never be good enough.

I am Engraved upon His Hands, into His flesh.

I am humbled whenever this imagery appears in my mind.
It reminds me of who I am,
And the price He paid to redeem me.
The greatest gift.
God has mercy for ALL of us.

Also, have mercy for the people you know who might not be so nice to you.  God loves them too.  We all need His mercy.

Have We Summered, and Are We Summering Still?

 Summering checklist:

Have we closed shop?

Did we can our peaches?

Ferry 'cross the Mersey (Wicomico)?

Sing, "Here comes the sun!"

Of course - a stop at the yarn shop!

Admired a Yellowtail butterfly?

Ooooo, we like this red!!
Canned your tomatoes?

Were you attacked by chiggers on your birthday?, from taking a stroll in the woods?

And did you go barefoot as much as you can?

Did we walk in the chiggery woods!?  O, yes we did, we surely did!

Did you get some pretty eggplants?

Did you eat the best Mexican food in 20 years?

We like this red!  Reminds us of the canned tomatoes.

Did you make something?
A summer coverlet made primarily from designer Sharon Holland, her Kismet range.
A small coverlet quilt finish.  No batting, just a flannel back.
Did you get your haying done, and in or sold?
Here's the rainbow again!  Did you thank Him for hope and rainbows?

Oh, you must have gone to the carnival, right?
Did you look at the green yarns again to remind you of the cool forest?

We end with a wild mama turkey.
May she rest in peace.
Watch out for the wildlife in your own neighborhoods.  We need these animals.
Peace to you all, and may God bless you.

Saturday On The Farm

We have the promise of tomorrow...
Heavenly clouds....

A reminder of His cross and His Crown...
Baskets of plenty....
A joyful garden..

A bountiful harvest....
A complex ecosystem that works without our "help"...

Delights to the eye.

God Loves Us!

This Week On The Farm

I just can not believe how much wildlife I have seen this past week!  There have also been black bears, but I was not fast enough to get the camera ready to capture their picture.  And Baltimore Orioles are nesting in the oak trees along the road.   All these different animals either on the farm or within 1/4 mile from here.  It's a jungle out there!  The weather has been fantastic. Have a nice week!

 Happy Easter everyone!

This is Dolly Partons Duncan Hines box cake mix, along with her buttercream frosting in the can.  Sig other says "needs more frosting in the middle."  So if you like lots of frosting, buy two cans of the frosting.

The taste is very good.  I like to make cakes from scratch, but this one is really good!❤

A GREEN DAY

 OH, Hello Everyone!  Bebe here!

It'll be green like this grass everywhere very soon!

I've decided to keep this blog going here, because I've been doing it for years, and I love it.

It's so easy for me to keep and maintain it here.

My wordpress site is forthcoming and will be up this year, I promise (to myself.).   That one will be completely new and a little different, because this blog has it's own personality.

I am having trouble with how to translate this blog to Wordpress, so for now, until I either get help, or figure out how to move all the stuff here to there, This is the main blog.

I may decide just to modernize the new site and maybe add a shop-wouldn't that be cool!?

It's March and I love shamrocks and green.....

So go out there and fly a kite, and look for the green in your life!

Sincerely,  Bebe
